World Sleep Academy World Sleep Academy is organized into three tiers. The tiers progress from introductory content in sleep science and medicine to advanced practice. The entire program takes one year to complete. Students come from around the globe to participate in Zoom classes and discussions. Volunteer opportunities include:
World Sleep Day World Sleep Day (WSD) is a global awareness event held annually and hosted by World Sleep Society since 2008.It is intended to be a celebration of sleep and a call to action on important issues related to sleep. It is organized by the WSD Committee and aims to lessen the burden of sleep problems on society through better prevention and management of sleep disorders. Healthier Sleep Magazine
Healthier Sleep is a publication of World Sleep Society. With an international sleep medicine and research base, World Sleep Society launched this magazine to support the patients of our sleep professionals. Exam
The World Sleep Society Sleep Medicine Examination is designed to cover many aspects of sleep science, extant practice guidelines, diagnostic nosology, presentation and associated features of sleep disorders, epidemiology of sleep disorders, clinical pharmacology, behavioral therapeutics, instrumentation, methodology, and sleep health. Congress
World Sleep congress occurs bi-annually and features the latest in scientific sleep research. WSS receives many submissions for symposia, abstracts and posters which are reviewed and scored to determine what will be presented.
CG Young Investigator Award This award is given in memory of Christian Guilleminault "CG" to a young investigator in the field of sleep to present their sleep-related science at scientific conferences, congresses, and meetings. Applications must be reviewed based on scientific merit.
